Following
the announcement of a national Roadmaps
to Health Prize
by the Population
Health Institute and the Robert Wood
Johnson Foundation, Partners
for a Healthier Community decided to apply.
First,
a comprehensive review process of the previous five years activities
designed to improve the City's health was undertaken. Members then
worked on a fifteen-page written
application describing the progress the City has made. Finally, a four-minute
