Residents of Ships' Cove Apartments had the opportunity to
teach their children about health and for adults to learn as well at the
second annual Children's Health and Wellness Fair on July 1, 2014. NHP Foundation Residential Services Coordinator Pam Anderson-Livingston
offered the fair to all of the residents of the multi-story
apartment building that houses hundreds of low-income persons, many of whom
have limited transportation.
"We do this once a year," stated Anderson-Livingston. "We
bring in as many vendors as possible, as many service providers as
possible, from the City of Fall River. We have a wonderful time. Parents
get all kinds of information," she added. This is part of an on-going effort to bring resources to the people who live in this building.
