ABBOTT COURT PARK

The City's South End is full of good walking routes through most of the streets on good sidewalks. The route on Bowen Street and King Streets on either side of Abbot Court Park is level, with only a slight rise coming up from Bowen on either Birch Street or Pokross Street.

The full walk measures 0.83 miles, though it is possible to shorten or lengthen the route by talking any of the cross streets or by extending the walk either north or south.

Starting in the summer of 2010, a Fall River Walks bulletin board will be located in the Abbot Court Park along Bowen Street near King Philip Street. Walkers can record their walks, meet other walkers and get information about other walking locations throughout the city.
