FLINT NEIGHBORHOOD

The Flint Neighborhood provides a mix of both commercial and residential scenes along with Lafayette Park on a generally level path. The HealthFirst Family Care Center provides walks with Center staff during warm weather months and stops along the way include dozens of stores, food purveyors and the East End Branch of the Public Library.

A full walk around the neighborhood is nearly a mile and a half (223 calories for a 200 pound person). Shorter walks can be arranged by taking cross streets.

Starting in the summer of 2010, a Fall River Walks bulletin board will be located in the lobby of the HealthFirst Family Care Center at 102 County Street. Walkers can record their walks, meet other walkers and get information about other walking locations throughout the city.
