St. Anne's Hospital held its sixth annual "Get Moving" community fundraising walk on Saturday, May 15th, at Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School. Under brilliant blue skies, nearly 300 walkers and innumerable supporters came together to raise funds in support of our Hudner Oncology Center's radiation therapy technology project. This is a terrific example of a healthy activity that combines physical fitness with strengthening community resources to treat cancer. This is a win-win event for the entire community, so plan on coming to the 7th annual Get Moving walk next year!

Preliminary reports suggest that the surpassed their goal of $75,000. All proceeds from "Get Moving 2004" will benefit the Hudner Oncology Center at Saint Anne’s.
