With the arrival of the biggest storm since the Blizzard of '78 came the opportunity for young people and adults to take advantage of the wonderful sledding hills at Kennedy Park. With school closed all week, children had a chance to indulge in hours of heart-healthy activity. To read the Herald News article, click here. Ample sledding opportunities were also available at North Park and Ruggles Park. All three parks were designed more than a century ago by Frederick Law Olmsted.
