The Down Under Fitness Program uses a small gym, complete with treadmills, stepper, universal machine and free weights to motivate group home residents with psychiatric disabilities to become more physically fit. The program also engages group home residents in a variety of walking programs throughout the city. The programs are provided by the Corrigan Mental Health Center and the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health. |
