Walking to Better Mental Health
Action Plan Participant:
Family Service Association of Greater Fall River

The Walking to Better Mental Health is an eight-session beginner's, weekly, self-paced walking group for inactive adults with mental health issues and possibly chronic health issues who would benefit from activity in a social group as a motivator to develop a healthier lifestyle offered by the Family Service Association.

Goal:

To help establish walking as a health lifestyle connecting good physical health with good mental health

Method(s):

An eight-week walking group focused on participant motivation.
