Walking Events & Resources

Fall River has a number of events to encourage walking as well as a number of scenic places to walk.  In fact, the entire city is walk-able given the abundance of sidewalks and the relatively short distances among parts of the city.

map of recommended walking paths throughout the city, each designating the length of the route in miles and calorie equivalents. Starting in the spring of 2007, each path will have a designated bulletin board where walkers can record their walks, meet other walkers and get information about other walking locations throughout the city.
